He probably wasn't conscious long enough in between first getting shot and dying to realize what was happening. From the way he was running, he was so completely tunnel-vision focused on the herd and the bar they all ran into that he didn't even register that the cops were there right in front of him with their guns drawn. Even as he tried to get back up, he still seemed focused on getting into the bar. Smart money says that the cops weren't shouting any orders because they were still trying to acquire the shooter, and then once they had they knew better than to bother and just lit him up.

But what he realized is ultimately irrelevant. The officers harshed the fuck out of his buzz and saved a lot of lives and taxpayer dollars by popping the fucker in such short order.

Now what I'm curious about is the events leading up to it. Reports say that he killed his sister and another person in a car right before he started shooting. What the hell was going on there, I wonder...

my first thought was:wtf is he blind?did he forgot what loadout he had and gear?didnt he see the wave of cops coming his way in what it seems to have just pistols and shotguns and alot of them in shorts?and didnt he remember the north hollywood shootout and the swat guys who just brought one down with leg shots?went on a killing spree in shorts and rest fully equiped?if he really wasnt that dumb and watched at least one documentary of the hollywood shootout he would have taken a lot of cops while supreesing fire.really dumbass fuker.cops were were a little wreckless at the start standing in the open.im just analysing the situation.dont take me wrong, this guys are heroes for what they have done with the gear they had and i hope this mofo is rotting in fucking hell burning.pos.rip to the victims

Totally agree! That was close tho, you’re right, if he made it into the entrance of that club it was going to be bad.

I met this guy a few times, he attended local punk shows in the Southern Ohio area. Such a strange dude, when we all found out it was him no one was shocked.
