The area is a strip of bars, restaurants and shops. Police presence has always been heavy there for its night life.

I was wondering the same thing. The reports I’ve heard said he went there in a car with his sister and a male friend of hers. But when they arrived there, the shooter went one way and sis and her friend went another. So did he target her, or was it an accident? Also, I have not heard anything about when and where he obtained his supplies & armor. He couldn’t have had it in the car or the other two would have seen it. If they split and went different directions, could he have stashed all that stuff somewhere on the block where no one would find it, or what? Has anyone heard reports that could answer these questions?  |

I do know he bought the rifle from an online gun supplier in Texas and picked it up at a local Ohio dealer. He also used legal to own 100-round magazines.

That's weird. I read that the sister and the friend were found dead in a car. I haven't read anything about how they got there or them splitting up, but that's because I've been using up all my research time on the guy in El Paso and trying to keep up with all the conspiracy-theory bullshit some folks are putting out there about that.  I've only read the reports about Betts being a little shitbag throughout high school. So if you've got a link to where it was reported that they arrived and split up, feel free to post it as it would undoubtedly save me a lot of time stumbling across it later. Love your avatar, btw.
