^Ha, and he responds trying to act like a big macho man on the internet. Nah I'm pretty far from Europe. Either way though of course it would be a pretty stupid wager that the chance of someone in any other first world country being stabbed vs you being shot would be reversed and then highly exaggerated from what the actual statistics tell us. Anyway if I was in the EU I'm not sure how saying that the situation with guns in the US might be too far gone to be able to tackle would be an example of irony. Kind of a weird comment, it shouldn't be controversial for anyone on any side of the issue to recognise that it would be a mammoth and maybe even impossible task to reverse the situation at this point. |

I'm a woman, not a man. If you know about globalism, you would understand my comment about the EU being further gone than the US. And I don't define being "far gone" as having a Constitution that allows citizens to own guns. But reading your posts leads me to believe that you would welcome globalism with open arms and happily give up your freedom and your country's sovereignty. Are you Canadian by chance? That would also explain it. Anywho, good luck with that. |

I'm really not interested in going off on a tangent about "globalism", clearly the context was the topic we're talking about when I was saying that it might be too far gone to change. Also it's amusing when people parrot that freedom thing from the country with by far the most incarcerated people in the world both in raw numbers and per capita, and where police routinely execute more people in public in a matter of weeks (mainly because of the fear of guns) than any other developed functioning country would tolerate over decades  |
