That sucking sound is a sucking chest wound.(pneumothorax) It means that not only does she have a hole in her lung, but the area around her lungs and heart (plural space) is filling up with air. This in turn creates pressure that compresses the good lung and heart. Without a. Closing off the hole with an airtight dressing(occlusive dressing) svs decompressing the pressure (needle decompression or chest tube) it eventually crushes your lung. She's also bleeding from the nose and mouth which indicates copious bleeding from the lung (hemopnuemothorax). Needs a chest tube 0% survival without medical intervention and is the 2nd cause if battlefield death 1. Uncontrolled blood loss 2. Sucking chest wound 3. Unsecured airway (damaged airway) |

You forgot to say there are a few who don't even get paid at all, what many people around here ignore is that some of them are forced to join under threat of death to them or their relatives, and yes they're supplied with drugs to hook them and to make them impervious to fear and pain, certainly more "daring".

In principle this is correct, but sometimes in the heat of action things turn out otherwise, as is the case with any and all law enforecement agencies. Particularly in a large scale shootout with bullets flying every which direction, nobody can precisely reconstruct the course of events.
