Looks like the kid planned it out to look like a accident to be honest. The first and number #1 rule in fire arms saftey is to NEVER point a gun at another person and I am 100% certain that the instructor informed this kid of that prior to even going onto a range since you need to read the short barrel fire arms saftey manual and write a test before even stepping on a range. This was a calculated murder for whatever reason

If I were an instructor, I would never be on a friendly level with my students, much less a teenaged student for him to play around and aim a gun at me. Loaded or not. If its unintentional (it looks so to me), he was close enough to him to play around and aim at him so as to scare him. Apparently he did more than that.
