You're likely both right. Looks like a hemorrhagic stroke. Blood is very irritating to the brain and he definitely had a tonic-clonic seizure which is why his left arm contracted and his legs seized up. Seizures are not typically fatal unless the guy is constantly seizing and can't breathe. It looks like the seizure ends and he slumps forward limp so I'm guessing he died from a cerebral hemorrhage and not from anoxic brain injury from ongoing seizure activity.

I have now , cant thank the stroke team enough , they were at my house every day making me do all sorts of exercises , I was told the first 3 months are the most crucial to recovery After 3 months recovery starts to slow down ,so the more you get stuck into it as fast as possible ,the more chance of a greater recovery. To be totally honest i feel gifted to have survived it as i went to bed to sleep whilst it was happening , and woke up incapacitated , My brother inlaw had the same a year or so earlier but he didnt survive .

are you very overweight? what's the cause behind yours? and you brother inlaw? I'm assuming you're both just extremely overweight or something? usually is the case? or maybe just in shape but eat a lot of junk? no exercise?
