Agreed. While I got used to adults getting beheaded, hacked, ripped to shreads in an accident, I can never get used to seeing a child suffer this fate.

Driver could see the child on the path, driver should have backed off, you never know what I child is going to do, as he found out.

Unfortunately, this kid, as with most kids, didn't have much sense about this kind of danger. Parents need to drill safety into children's heads; if you don't, this is what happens.
