She started to run across the road as the bus was coming upon her, I don't know why she thought it was okay to cross...and the bus driver did try to avoid her but...  |

i have a feeling i read about this accident previously and it wasnt a little girl it was a middle aged woman, which to be honest puts a whole new perception on it!  |

sometimes its good for drivers to be suspicious of everything when he is driving. of dangers that may come from stationary objects or people beside the road, from wide crossroads and thick foliage that might have someone or something popping out, or from people who rides n the bus.... and be prepared. the child did not, like do a sudden appearance act in front of the vehicle. the child started from the side and a bus driver can see that from a distance. he may still hit the child but he could have applied brakes before impact. not after. When i drive and i see dogs or animals beside the road... or children, or just some people hanging around talking, i make it a point to slow down a tad and pass on the farthest point from them. always assuming they might do something unexpected. |
