Re: Bull Rider Dies During Rodeo Training
I'm with you all on this one. I never feel bad when a rodeo rider or a matador get killed. Also don't feel bad when base jumpers or speeding motorcyclists get killed. I probably should feel bad, but I don't. |

Also don't feel bad when people die climbing Mt. Everest. Stop with your whining!

Re: Bull Rider Dies During Rodeo Training
When I was a kid we put a bulls head in the chute after baiting him with a bit of nice hay and I was about to get on him.. I hadn't learned the massive weight of these things yet.. he gently stepped sideways about 5 or 6 inches.. and pushed my foot, boot, pant leg and all a full 20" down into the dirt and mucky ground. He was not riled in the least just a mere sidestep from boredom to rearrange his standing there. Hurt like an absolute mother fucker on top of my foot. Thus ended my (almost) bull riding career. My ass never even thought about doing that shit again. Never found the boot back and I did try looking after he was let loose.
