Gang/cartel-related. There's a translation somewhere in this thread of what he says during his confession video. He talks about the gang he's in and who he works with, and the kind of crimes they commit. He mentions commercial burglary, auto theft, and a few other things that I can't remember. So either he and his boys pissed off the wrong people, or he was just offed as a matter of gang/cartel rivalry.

The problem is, killing something with a knife is personal, and the adrenaline kicks in. So the attacker just keeps going, his adrenaline is going wild, he just wont stop until he see's the life fade away. Someone probably had to pull him off towards the end. For some reason killijg with a knife just creats more adrenaline than a gun or projectile. |
