Brutally Stabbing a Guy in Chest and Neck

I'm newish, but I really enjoy reading your level of perspective. It's not lost on everyone, thank you.

I was imagining all the same things about that man's final experience... and I'm left wondering why they filmed it - not because I disagree with anyone viewing these kinds of vids (obv, I viewed it by choice), but what is 'their' intent?

to share? brag? as a warning to associates? to sell? why film taking sometimes life... why implicate yourself, it's heartbreaking enough to carry the act, but they hit record. I don't get any of it.

First impression is, obviously as a warning. Running a close tie with that is, as a personal souvenier. But you've gotta think it adds insult to injury from the victim's perspective, intentionally or not. It's the second-most important event in their life right behind their birth, but it's being recorded to serve someone else's purposes, and may wind up as a curiosity to others. Whether they deserved it or not, they're dying as someone else's meat tool. The guys who are clapping them probably see them the same way. And if this clip really *is* about folks doing the vigilante thing (the weapon slips a LOT, so the guy may be an amateur), then that just shows how powerful hatred and rage can be in dehumanizing another person.
