I kinda felt bad for the dummy when I noticed it looked like he had tied himself to the bull. Either that or his boot got stuck but modern stirrups are made so this don't happen. That's the real reason for the shape of the boot. You are not supposed to be able to get stuck. But it looks like he did something very unorthodox with the rope.
