Re: Brutal Car Wreck. Perfect Video Angle
Two variables at play in this one: 1. Speed of the impacting car. Hard to tell from the footage. A lot of drivers who speed are aggressive and very quick to lay on the horn, but people pulling out are not expecting the speeding car to approach that quickly. 2. The fact that driver of the impacting car was presumably DUI. That increases that chances that speeding was a factor too. |

Re: Brutal Car Wreck. Perfect Video Angle
That car was going maybe 65+ mph in the alternate angle, car pulling out probably assumed they were going slower. Wonder what the posted or average speed is, it doesn't look like a freeway. Bad luck the car made a square hit on the drivers door. Would be interesting to know how well side impact and head airbags work in a collision like this...

Re: Brutal Car Wreck. Perfect Video Angle
Accidents like this are always so sad. Traffic laws are put in place to save lives, not to just piss people off. Nothing can ruin your day quicker than having to pull the dead body of a little child out of a smash up car. Slow down, live longer.
