Brazilian Woman Is Shot Point-Blank in the Head
In Mantenópolis, Espírito Santo state, a 30-year-old woman, Laila V.d.O., was murdered with a point-blank shot to the head. A security camera recorded the moment when the gunman arrived at the bar with his son, put a gun in the boy's hand and told him to shoot. The boy handed the gun to his father, and left the scene on a bicycle. Soon afterwards, the suspect pointed the gun at the victim's face and pulled the trigger, but the shot didn't go off. The suspect handled the gun in order to unlock it. Soon afterwards, he fired again, killing Laila. After the shot, the suspect entered the bar and murdered a man, identified as 33-year-old José M.V.J., who died on the spot. After the crime, the gunman fled on a bicycle. |
