As a 25-year Firefighter/Medic, all of the dog attacks I've responded to has been pitbulls. ALL OF THEM.

Why the fuck would anyone:
(1) Continue to own a clearly (visibly) dangerous animal with known behavioral issues even after 2 years (its upbringing/history are immaterial in the face of current, ongoing danger, unless you LIKE worrying, bleeding and maybe dying), or
(2) Own a pet capable of killing them and, per a huge preponderance of historical example (and bred-for-purpose human intent) over time and space, IS a breed that isn't unlikely to kill?

If your pet kills you, it's YOUR fault, not the pet's, even if that's essentially what it was made for.
