I don't know about Brazil, but that's not how it works in most western countries.
Killing out of revenge is generally unlawful . Even if it was in immediate self defense, the threat ceased when he hit the deck with a frothing chest wound, and anything further could be seen as a disproportionate response.

You mention Western justice and its machinations, OJ got away with double murder so anything could happen with a revenge case.
