Lol, how does someone that has debts with drug dealers look? There's people of all types that can owe a drug dealer... even a clean cut college kid could be into buying drugs and owe a dealer.

Because of the background and the execution... She had a mom that had cancer... Probably she took some money to pay some of her debts... Probably her mom was retired and the cash flow went off and she couldn't pay her debts. Also the drug dealers usually they know exactly who they are looking for... They don't need to ask names. Loan Sharks hire people to do their work, usually crooked police officers... |

I think she knew. I thought the same thing as you at first, but she doesn't appear to actually be looking in the case or reaching to get anything from it she simply lays her head on the glass and even rubs her stomach in a weird self-soothing kind of way right before he pops her

Hard to say if she knew it was coming or not. I could see it either way; it does seem like maybe she at least suspected right before the murder, as putting her head down and touching her stomach (hopefully she wasn't pregnant) seems unusual in the context - it's almost as if she knew that she had put two and two together too late, kind of like the Chinese guy who got his brains ejected by a hydraulic press against his head reaching for the Stop button a millisecond too late. Pretty girl - somehow that makes it seem sadder - does that make me shallow? Brazil seems like such a fucking awful place...
