Re: Brazil - Woman Gets Rocket To The Face
I've never understood the desire to spend money on fireworks to simply shoot into the sky. Silly, silly indeed. Now, blowing shit up is an entirely different story (except innocent bystanders, that is).

Re: Brazil - Woman Gets Rocket To The Face
When I was 10 y.o. I went to watch a pyrotechnics show at a park, there were lots of people there enjoying the show, they were launching some cool pyrotechnic rockets that exploded into stars and sparkles with lots of bright incandescent balls of fire in a variety of colors (similar to those of Disneyland), some of them were the type that just goes boom, no eye candy, but being big ass rockets the explosion was very loud!, I was just crossing the street to the park with my little brother 8 y.o. at the time and our 9 y.o. neighbor friend when one rocket went up into the sky, but suddenly changed into a downwards direction into the street where we were walking, it went off right in front of a mother crossing the street with her three kids, the explosion and smoke was awesome (to me) I bet those poor people had their ears ringing for a while, fortunately they were not injured, had it been a sparkle rocket I bet yours truly, my brother and friend would have been burned by the incandescent stars going all directions. Had the rocket exploded in the face of any of them I bet death would have been very likely. I was too young and didn't fathom what could have happened at the time, the three of us thought it was awesome to be that close to the explosion. Kids! |
