She wasn't paying attention. She had plenty of time and room to swerve around him. She was right on the outside of the lane, when she should have headed for the curb edge. People don't give their bikes any respect.

WM, I agree with you. What's really odd is how that truck came out on the slow side, and even with all of that time she could have seen the truck and slowed or served, she did not do it. I don't know if she had a phone out in her hand at impact, but it was almost like "distracted" driving, where the driver is texting, and does not see anything around her. But can they text while driving a motor? I don't know, but maybe that was what she was doing. It would explain what looks like a suicidal sequence where she drove straight into the slow turning truck?  |

Good point! That may have been what happened. It struck me as very odd that she gave no kind of response at all, didn't try to swerve or turn or anything, just went right down to the road to impact. I didn't see a phone, but that doesn't mean she wasn't using one. The video is not that high of a quality where you can see much.

I will have to agree with the previous assessment. When the truck begins to pull out you can count 3.8 seconds of exposed of the Truck coming out. Now it's pretty easy to see that she seemed to make no attempt to move out of the way by swerving to the right of the road to avoid impact. In fact when her image barley begins to come into view of the scene stop it. You see she is like four feet to the right of the center yellow divider line. She then seems to swerve to the left to make sure she impacts the truck. Its either suicide or not paying attention and panic in the last seconds upon realizing she was fucking up. Either way I mean Dam people are just like fucking dumb cattle crossing an African river full of Killer Crocs. Just Amazing. Just a couple of vids back the guy on the escalator *Four Stories Up High* Carrying his Grandchild to fall four stories off the side. Just Amazing. Shit So Incredible if you sent to "Ripley's Beleive It Or Not" they'd say They Don't Belive It"
