One criminal was burned alive and two others were lynched and thrown into the river to be devoured by fish.

The acts of extreme perversity took place in the late afternoon of this Wednesday, 6th, in the municipality of Japurá, 905 kilometers from Manaus in a straight line.

The bandits were captured by a group of people, tied up, beaten and in the end one was burned alive and the other two, after being massacred, thrown into the river.

The three men were members of a “river pirate” gang that had been terrorizing the population of Japurá with constant assaults, rapes and murders.

The “river pirates” also attacked vessels in the middle of the river and in some of these crimes they threw people into the river to drown if they did not know how to swim.

According to information, the population of Japurá could no longer bear to live in this climate of danger and when they had the opportunity to catch the criminals before the police, they took justice into their own hands.

The “river pirates” were captured when they went to the port of the municipality to supply a speedboat with fuel and were recognized by the owner of a vessel robbed by the trio.

Other people also recognized the bandits and in a space of time that did not reach 1 hour, the men were massacred and one of them was transformed into a human torch on the steps of the port of Japurá.
