I'm inclined to believe her companion. That sounds like a regular situation that happened often. If he had wanted to rape her when she was drunk he would have had many previous opportunities, so. if they can confirm that he often looked after her that way, then I think they can clear him. Her friends should be able to say if that was a regular thing for her or not, as she would have shared it with them. His statement about not taking her all the way home to avoid the wrath of the family is kind of confirmation for me. That is a very odd thing that someone wouldn't make up, and I have been in that situation myself. Sometimes it's better to drop her off a block from her house, and avoid getting her in trouble with her family, or starting a confrontation yourself with them. She just walks 200 feet home, a little drunk, and goes to bed. Most of the ones I dropped off, we had already banged, so rape wasn't even an issue. But I also picked up friends who had too much to drink, or thought something had been put in their drink, and got them, their purses, their phones, and their bank cards safely deposited on their door step. Sometimes all I got was a "best pal" hug and kiss, and that was fine. They got home safely. So I hope they investigate deeper and see what occurred. I would hate to have been that friend, and then something happened after I left her, and I got accused of something. Thank God for dash cams nowadays! |

It was enough she showed up drunk at home. They didn't want to hear a lot more Sh** about going out with a guy at the same time. I understood their reasoning completely. My relatives are all assholes, too.
