Being killed in a hit by mistake is the worst that can happen to you. It reminded me of a similar situation that a beautiful female secretary at my company told me about many years ago. It had happened to the husband of a female friend of hers, who was marked in a horrible way by the event. The husband of her friend had this favorite shirt he liked to wear and had asked his wife if it was clean a few days prior but it wasn't, then on that fateful day he asked her for that shirt and she told him that she had just washed it but needed to be ironed, the guy said that it was okay and that he would wear something else. His wife knowing how fond he was of that shirt decided to iron it for him while he was getting ready for work and surprised him by presenting him with the ironed shirt just before he finished getting ready, so he was off to work in that shirt. After work, before getting home the guy decided to pay a visit to a friend who worked at a bar. He was talking to him when a hitman entered the premises and shot him dead, later it was known that the hit man had targeted the guy because he was wearing the same shirt than his real target. The wife on learning that cursed herself for irining that shirt, she blamed herself for the death of her beloved husband, my female friend told me the woman had never recovered from that. |

After noticing the limp wrist, I imagined him flamboyantly saying the Portuguese equivalent of "oh my goodness... I think that man needs help! Somebody really shot this man ya'll! He's bleeding! Oh lord.. He's on the ground and he's bleeding..."
