"A man killed a woman with a knife and then took his own life, in the city of Caaporã , on the South Coast of Paraíba. The case happened in the early hours of this Monday (11). The man was identified as S.F., aged 53, and the woman was identified as L.F., aged 49.

Police chief Ademir Fernandes informed TV Cabo Branco that it was the perpetrator's brother who found the two bodies and called the police.

According to the police chief, this brother arrived at around 5:30 am at the man's house, called for several minutes and, as no one answered, decided to jump over the wall. Through the bedroom window, which was open, he saw his brother dead. He then entered the house through the back door, which was open, and found the woman on the floor, with several puncture wounds on her body.

Still according to delegate Ademir Fernandes, the two had a relationship for around eight years, on and off. A month ago, they would have moved back together."
