"Former councilor J. G. F, known as J, died after being shot on the Estrada Guandu do Sapé, in Campo Grande, in the West Zone of Rio, this Thursday (4). He is appointed, along with his brother, former deputy N. G, as the founder of the militia that became known as the Justice League."

His brother-in-law was also shot and is hospitalized at Rocha Faria Hospital, in a stable condition. Councilor J. G. F, was appointed by the authorities as the founder of the Justice League militia, a criminal group that commits homicides and collects fees from residents of the West Zone of the city. The politician was one of 227 indicted in the CPI das Milícias, which ended in 2008, but he was arrested a year earlier and remained in federal prisons for 11 years for other crimes, until he was released in 2018. Jerominho even considered running for office. City Hall of Rio in 2020, but withdrew from running for the election. |
