One of the victims is a toolmaker A. B. do N, 46 years old. He was originally from Caracol, Piauí state, and lived in the city of Itu (SP). The second is the young E. M. de S, 21. E. was also rescued and was hospitalized but he did not resist his injuries. The young man had been in the company for almost three years. Natural from Christinapolis (SE), F. N. dos S, 25, also died in the accident. The worker came to be rescued, but he could not resist and died. W. O. da S. is a natural from Cristinàpolis (SE) and he was he 4th death that was confirmed six days after the explosion. The victim, 42, was hospitalized since the day of the explosion. According to the family, he suffered 100% of the body burns and his health was in serious condition. |

Immediate deaths may have been 4 but a lot of the burned men I saw in the clip are dead but don't know it yet. Dehydration, ability to regulate their body temperature leading to hypothermia, infection - they will wish they had died instantly. Almost everything that will happen at the hospital will involve terrible pain, repeated, and pain medication options will be limited because of how readily they may go into heart failure. They would have a small chance of survival if this happened in a Western city and could be airlifted to a burns centre. They have next to zero chance in that place.
