He was already being worked inside the cell prior to him getting finished off in the main corridor.. Couldn't imagine how shitty it would be to be locked up in a Brazilian prison  |

A prisoner was killed after getting involved in a fight inside the Prison Rogério Coutinho Madruga, in Nísia Floresta, Grande Natal on December 23. According to the Penitentiary Administration Secretariat of Rio Grande do Norte, the case happened around 6:50 am. The unit's management reported that the criminal police officers on duty heard screams and acted to control a fight between three inmates. The perpetrators of the crime would have kicked and stepped on the victim's head. According to the police, the killers are highly dangerous prisoners. The agents needed to use “equipment of lesser offensive potential” in containment, such as pepper spray. The Mobile Emergency Service (Samu), the Technical-Scientific Institute of Expertise and the Civil Police were called to the scene. Seap's Special Operations Group (GOE) was called in to reinforce the security of the prison unit. The Prison Rogério Coutinho Madruga is located in the Alcaçuz penitentiary complex – the largest prison in Rio Grande do Norte, which became internationally known in 2017, when a dispute between members of rival criminal factions imprisoned in the unit resulted in a massacre that killed 27 inmates] |
