Brazil - Bringing Down the Body of an Electrocuted Worker
On the afternoon of 12th January 2021 in the Eucaliptal District (Brazil), 33 year old W.A.D.S. died. 'W' worked for an internet service provider. He was electrocuted during an installation job. He had only been working for the company for 2 months.

The guy on the ladder... I bet his ass tightened up when he let the guy go and it looked like he was going to slip through the rope and hit the ground.  |

Many many years ago, 1982, I trained 2 years at a vocational school-powerline technician course. We had to learn "pole top rescue" while performing CPR on the dummy while lowering the body down the pole. All the while we were at the top of a 45 foot high utility pole wearing pole climber gaffs and all the other safety gear and tools. Not an easy task/training procedure. I went on to use that training with the cable t.v. industry for 5 years. |
