True, but we don't know the circumstances. She could have had all the children whilst in a steady relationship. Said relationship could have broken down over the years or the father/s could have passed away.

^^ Yes, none of my posts stated how the poor woman obtained the (children,adults?) some must have assumed she spread her legs. Not necessarily so. As was mentioned.

She had strong and sad eyes. She was probably a good woman. Nothing would be easy when taking care of that many kids.

It's actually not humanly possible to look after 11 kids. If she had been single, the kids probably grew up looking after their siblings while she was out earning money.
