Brazil - Body of Pregnant 21 Year Old Found Stabbed in a Stream
On the morning of 15th January 2020 in the Tancredo Neves neighbourhood (Brazil), the body of 21 year old M.M.D.C. was found in a stream. 'M', a waitress who was 3 months pregnant, had been stabbed to death + then tossed from a bridge into the water below. She had been stabbed 9 times. A text conversation between 'M' + a friend was had just over 3 hours before her body was found. In the messages, she stated that she was shortly going to meet up with her ex-boyfriend, 25 year old R.B. 'M's family stated that they suspect she was murdered by 'R'. When she had found out that she was pregnant, 'R' had told her to have an abortion + had threatened her. 'M' had told 'R' that she wanted the baby + would do so without anything from him. When news of the discovery of 'M's body was known, 'R' deleted his social media account + left his home - nobody has heard from him since.
