What an idiot! And you can tell the guy who got shot had an attitude from the very beginning. He didn't take the situation very seriously and got himself killed over absolutely nothing.

Incidentally, in a back-handed way, taking those shots may have saved the lives of everyone else present, as assuredly the assailant promptly left after that!

Damn. I hate to say it but that was dumb from a tactical perspective. Sure he was able to close the distance but it took the killer very little time to get his gun out and into the fight. Plus the victim was wearing flip flops which caused him to slide on that floor. The kid wasn't even looking to use it as he just flashed it for everyone to see during the robbery. He was even leaving the place a second time. This was completely unnecessary and an instance of machismo/punitive measures that cost him his life. That doesn't excuse the kid but rather points out how avoidable and pointless this was. It would've been a different story if he came in pointing the gun at everyone, manhandling people, etc. That would've changed the equation drastically. |
