From the same city... A woman, as yet unidentified, was shot dead on Tuesday night (9) in the Engenho Velho da Federação neighbourhood of Salvador. According to information from the Bahia Military Police, the victim was killed by the "crime court". She was stopped by drug dealers from Comando Vermelho (CV), who examined her cell phone. The criminals found videos in which the victim was making a sign in reference to Bonde do Maluco (BDM), a rival group that is fighting for control of drug trafficking in the neighbourhood. |

Salvadaor, Brasil is ok as long as you stay out of trouble. I walked around late at night alone plenty of times and it was fine.
