No, we have trains in North America. We also have idiots who get hit by those trains. I have a cousin who lost a friend, due to listening to music while walking on the tracks. You have to be in a very specific place at a very specific time, to be hit by a train. It's very hard for me to be sympathetic towards train victims... |

I grew up on a street with two sets of active tracks running down the middle of it. We used to play on them all the time. There was a small wall we sat on and it is surprising that we didn't get sucked into the trains as they went by. Seeing as he had his back to the oncoming train he wouldn't even have heard it due to the noise and rumble of the other train.

There's a reason why a lot of rail crossings here have signs warning of trains passing in both directions on two separate rails - 'cause people are fucking stupid.
