We should have kept Bagram Airbase. And that's where all these evacs should be happening. But instead Biden decided we would just close our airbase that's 10 times the size of Kabul Airport. And just have our people go to a fucking shity airport.

Bagram is like 40 minutes outside Kabul. Easily defendable. And it's basically a small city capable of holding 40,000+ people. I mean, we basically owned our own city. And we closed in, or abandoned it would be more accurate. Fled it might be more accurate.

And if we didn't get everyone out by some deadline. The people wouldn't be in any danger. We would just keep evacuating. And the Taliban would just have to deal with it. They wouldn't be able to get within 10 miles of the base if we didn't want them too.
