I think it's not going to go so rosy for the Taliban as they were thinking. Unless they kill a lot more people. Which they might very well do. If they can kill little girls and comedians, then they have no limits.
I don't think the Taliban are too happy. They just held press conferences where they stated they had "finally brought peace to Afghanistan" but it looks like the Islamic State did this to show them up.

The Taliban are going to slaughtering thousands and thousands of people. That is the only way they will retain power. ISIS, insurgents, Iranian agents and other terrorists. The Taliban will be looking to kill them all. And anyone who the deemed to be against them ever. And they will kill thousands just because they think it's possible they are one of those groups.

We’ve been damn lucky that the Taliban have actually let us do the evacuations. Doesn’t make them any better as people, and I don’t doubt that the poor women and Afghans who worked for us westerners who will be left behind will suffer unimaginable pain under their oppression. Hate to give them credit in any way but they have sure have been reasonable in letting us evacuate to the best of our ability.

I wish I knew why every yank is obsessed with Biden. I swear to god that senile old man lives rent free in all your minds. Don’t trouble yourselves, life, as we have seen here, is often too short.

End of the day, the US lost the 20 year Afghan war, under them so did the UK and every other western force that involved themselves alongside them. As losers, let’s focus on the future and try our best to protect our people from attack in the west from those mongrels who won the war. But we must prepare for the worst, leaving Afghanistan has both metaphorically and LITERALLY left the enemy with the guns to shoot us with. Don’t let that old man distract you from the awful things that are undoubtedly going to happen that nobody will be able to stop
