Well they don't have to be on the corner to be considered nuts. Fox "news" has no shortage of them. There the '700 club'. 100 Huntley st. Every church/mosque/temple on the planet. etc. I'd say it's more like it's unbelievable that 20 years after the internet became public there are still an abundance of people that don't understand how science works and how you should evaluate reality. Believing something because someone else told so is not a reliable pathway to truth. Believing something because it can be DEMONSTRATED repeatedly with the same results IS a reliable pathway to truth. Science = Knowledge and Power Faith = Mental bankruptcy and dice rolling. |
