Re: Bodycam Video Shows Shooting of Two Tulsa Police Officers
I wouldn't be the worst cop ever like the other one said but where is police violence when you need it. This half-squirt shoulda gotten a dozen of knees to the head to immobilize him

Re: Bodycam Video Shows Shooting of Two Tulsa Police Officers
RIP to Sergeant Johnson and I wish Zarkeshan a full recovery. I'll repeat what's been said, these officers were way too lenient and should've acted after giving the first few commands. I'll go over some things I noticed that I hope will serve to help us learn from what happened during this stop. I've no judgement against these officers but hope this encounter can at least serve as a learning moment as to how others can mitigate against similar outcomes in the future. Nonlethal was the way to go as he didn't present a deadly threat until the end, but they should've deployed them earlier on. The optimal taser distance is roughly between eight to ten feet to allow the prongs proper spread. Given the much shorter distance from which it was deployed it wasn't effective. You also don't warn someone if you're going to mace him. As demonstrated in the video, he put his hands up to block the incoming spray. Just mace him and follow up (the officer does do this the second time). The type they used also tends to both contaminate a larger area and be more susceptible to wind so an actual stream is preferable. The one officer kept the dedicated light in his hand but he should've used it to go after the guy or put it away/dropped it once the physical conflict started. Having both hands in such a fight is better than one. They should've committed to going in on the guy rather than starting and stopping. That gave him way too much time to react. Backwards cap's continued refusal to follow commands after being maced was more proof he wasn't going to comply. Police need more training to deal with situations like this and time so they can learn how to handle such occurrences both solo and with partners. That way, they have a plan. It's pretty clear that they didn't here. One could've taken the lead while the other provided cover and assistance. Towards the end they did communicate a plan such as who'd grab which arm. More hand to hand skills would benefit every police officer. They need more funding and training, not less. They aren't mental health counselors, they're not babysitters, they're law enforcement. It infuriates me that when the SOB went for the gun, the officer thought he was trying to put his car in gear. Then this piece of human filth screamed like the little bitch he was up until the time he started shooting. He used it as a distraction. May he suffer immensely. Coward. |

No, I didn't do shit because they didn't give me any justification to do so. Unlike little-dick shitbags like you, I have consideration for people like the staff and other patrons at the places where I encounter these shitbags. I'm sorry that you and ol' fuckface in this video are so cut from the same cloth that your junkie bitch-ass felt personally attacked by my comment, but that's your problem and not mine.

Re: Bodycam Video Shows Shooting of Two Tulsa Police Officers
It wasn't a distraction. He was legit terrified of going to prison for what he had in the car. He even tried to run to his little boyfriend's vehicle rather than shoot (notice how easily he comes out the car and then stumbles towards Zarkeshan), but the officers had him gripped up. He grabbed the gun because he didn't want to get caught with it, and only started firing as a last resort when he realized that he was done otherwise. You can hear the fear in his voice as he's calling his boyfriend's name at the end. The cops were already down, so who would that act have been for? That's just how junkies operate. They'll always try to squirm out via the path of least resistance, but stupid panic will cause them to scorch the earth once they're out of options. That's even more reason why Ware needs to be executed for this. |

Re: Bodycam Video Shows Shooting of Two Tulsa Police Officers
No, I've been called a cop-hater more times than I can count because I'm very critical of shitty cops and police misconduct. You're mistaking my rabid hatred of shitbags like Ware for blind appreciation of the police, most likely because you're thoroughly programmed. I don't care about your political affiliations. What's obvious is that you're stupid and uninformed enough to play the race card, but also so full of shit that you can't decide on which side of your ass you want to talk through. You criticize police on the assumption that they all mistreat POCs as a matter of principle and policy, but then you call these cops that Ware shot "dumb" for not treating him as you assume cops treat black people. So really, you have no consistent argument, which likely means you have no consistent principles. That's why you're just regurgitating the typical bullshit that propaganda machines feed all little useful idiots like you. |

Re: Bodycam Video Shows Shooting of Two Tulsa Police Officers
A .22 can still be a big gun. Hell, you can get Desert Eagles chambered in 9mm. But footage from Zarkeshan's body cam briefly captures the top rear part of the gun's slide right after Ware finally gets out the car and tries to run. It looks like a Glock, which means it's likely chambered in .40 S&W. Zarkeshan likely didn't see it because of the lighting and the action going on, and Johnson couldn't see it because Ware was turned away from him with his body between Johnson and his own right hand/the gun. But yeah, you're right, at first I thought he got the gun from under the seat the last time Johnson maced him; but after repeated viewings and actually hearing the gun clatter around as he drops it (which sounded EXACTLY like a gun being dropped onto a dashboard and a floorboard would sound), I realized that the speed and deliberateness with which his hand shoots down to the floor is an "oh shit" reaction. This clip really is one deep-ass rabbit-hole in terms of analysis. It'll be a training staple for decades to come. |
