The alleged accomplice in the shooting of two Tulsa police officers has attempted suicide in jail, according to a jail official.

The jail supervisor told Channel 8 that 29-year-old Matthew Hall was found unresponsive in his cell Tuesday with a sheet around his neck.

Paramedics arrived and helped resuscitate him. Hall was taken to the hospital and ultimately returned to jail.

Hall was arrested in connection with the June 29 shooting of two Tulsa police officers.

Sgt. Craig Johnson and Officer Aurash Zarkeshan were shot after an overnight traffic stop, allegedly by David Ware.

Johnson suffered fatal wounds. Zarkeshan is progressing in his recovery.

Hall is accused of driving Ware away from the scene of the shooting. Hall is charged with accessory to murder and accessory to a felony.

Ware, 32, faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder.

Also, I’ve included a video of the surviving officer as he makes a progress report of his recovery on their local news station.

He got him in the head on the last shot. There are a few frames at the end of the dashcam footage where you can clearly see the blood on his forehead.

What an intense video, I normally just skip through to the end on ones this long but the entire thing was extremely tense.
