Re: ~Bodybuilder Burned Alive In His Apartment~
God… lol. The fact that humans have not evolved past belief in a supreme being is shocking to me. But I digress . As much as I loved my pet, maybe in a moment like that you don’t have time to think with logic and jump into action. But if the situation was reversed … I doubt very much that this dog , or any of our pets, would risk burning in flames to save us. And now his child is orphaned and his wife alone. Or maybe she’s not, who knows. |

Re: ~Bodybuilder Burned Alive In His Apartment~
In this specific scenario probably not because the dog is not able to comprehend the complexity of the situation with the fire and all. However, a dog is one of the few animals that will give it's life attempting to protect an owner if it had to. It's definitely a tough decision but the man did make the wrong one. Once the wife and kid were safe he should have just stayed out. As someone who has had dogs I understand, but you gotta be able to make that call for the sake of your family. RIP to him and the dog. |

Re: ~Bodybuilder Burned Alive In His Apartment~
This is absolutely true. I didn’t consider this. Sadly, the bodybuilder didn’t seem to have considered the complexity of the fire situation, either. To be fair, these are prob split second decisions. I love living in a high rise. The only downside is their potential to become fiery traps. Or, if you’re in Miami, to collapse like the Champlain Towers. |
