The corpse was found on the Citanduy River, on Sunday morning (31/3/2019). Initially, Ojat (43) a local resident who was dabbling in sand found the victim floating only wearing a sweater and without wearing pants, in the middle of the Citanduy river, he then tried to drag him to the position of the corpse on the riverbank.

"After being approached by visitors, it turned out that the floating corpse was actually a human corpse," said Karangkamulya Village Chief Mohamad Abdul Haris when met by HR Online at the scene.

Residents together with the Pusdalops BPBD and PMI Ciamis evacuated the victims, the victims were then taken to RSUD Ciamis. "After matching the fingerprints, the victim was named A.R., 22 years old, a resident of Beuti Hamlet, Ciparay Village, Cidolog District," said AKP Hendra.
