Re: Bodies of Two Women Who Were Shot Dead in Colombia
It's not especially easy to get quality, verified news reports from a lot of South America. The one I did find that actually included her real name only said that she 'was facing a series of serious charges, including human trafficking and child pornography, crimes for which other members of the network captured before the leader of the criminal enterprise was found were already prosecuted. Authorities continue to investigate the scope of their operations and do not rule out the possibility of additional victims or individuals involved in this sexual exploitation network. ' Remember that the 'age of consent' in most places includes sexual contact with people (often themselves restricted in age, dependent on the age of the younger party), but often precludes things such as prostitution, professional pornography, etc. All of that said, everything I got was from social media or news media. I saw no court reports, charging documents, arrest records, etc other than the photo I posted, which was clearly La Mona being arrested for something. For all I know, their operation was completely legitimate and both women are the target of police harassment, neighborhood bullying, and libel. I've certainly seen it before. I am also not even certain that the woman I posted is the same as either woman Kellyhound posted. In fact, the website I used has a very different full name. So the two dead girls may actually have been totally different people from the La Mona and La Barbie that were allegedly involved with child trafficking. The idiot killers may well have murdered the wrong women, which is also not at all infrequent in Colombia. |

Re: Bodies of Two Women Who Were Shot Dead in Colombia
In fact, all of the news I am getting on the subject this morning (which is all still just media coverage, some professional and some amateur) is stating that the authorities have denounced the 'anonymous letter' altogether, saying that it was completely made up by an unscrupulous journalist. Cops are claiming that there was no letter at the crime scene at all and, indeed, I cannot see one anywhere in either video. They said the letter was either created artificially or was possibly used in another crime somewhere else at some other point in time and the journalist just copied the photos. Current statements attributed to the authorities are stating unequivocally that these two women were not Mona and Barbie at all. They have no known ties to human trafficking. One was the girlfriend of a drug dealer who was assassinated last month and the other had a small possession charge on her record. |

Crux and Ved! We aren't holding you responsible for the accuracy of what you gather! If it's from Brazil, it's all in PORTUGESE, and WHO DO YOU KNOW THAT KNOWS HOW TO SPEAK THAT? I personally, appreciate all that you guys post. Whether the details you find are accurate or not, is NOT your problem. Not MINE either! People post what they can find. This is NOT the Christian Science Monitor! People who post here, are getting and posting the best info they can get at the time. HOW WOULD YOU POSSIBLY VERIFY THIS STUFF? That is an impossible requirement! Just post what you can find! If someone objects or finds fault, FUCK 'EM! Let THEM show you how much better they are, by actually coming up with solid, verified info! They will be shoving their own heads up their own asses in order to find anything! You will never hear from them again! I give you both 5 corns for the interesting stuff you hunt up! |
