They're not people, they're depraved animal creatures whose deeds and manner of death will be the same as those they kill.
Of course they're people. Murderers of innocent people and selfish thieves are people, child molesters are people. That's no a defence of them, it's just reality. People can often be shit and you're kidding yourself if you think ones like that are a different animal to you.
