Those of us in the U.S. face on average about a 1 in 1000 lifetime risk of death by gun homicide, and it’s significantly less than this for those of us who avoid high crime areas, people, and activities, which is hardly enough risk to lose sleep over. Anything close to what you could call ‘mass gun violence’ in the U.S. is very ‘ethnic’ in distribution.
