This is a small lake situated almost in the middle of a small village with no river connections so guess it gets water from the yearly summer monsoon rains.

I saw somewhere that you should never put yourself in the water with a decomposing body without a full wet suit as there are so many diseases you can catch. They did not specify what diseases, but they did emphasize the danger of your skin being exposed. After they brought the body out of the water, they hosed themselves off and then took off the wet suits and showered. So I cringed while watching this...until I saw all the garbage on the shoreline.
