Re: Bloated Corpse Floats by After Failed Sailing on a Piece of Styrofoam
The back story clearly states that he couldn't swim and with that little hint you were able to "bet this poor fucker couldn't swim". |

Re: Bloated Corpse Floats by After Failed Sailing on a Piece of Styrofoam
Most African Americans have a family tradition of not swimming that goes back to HUMILIATING experiences of being treated very badly at public pools "back-in-the-day" at very impressionable young ages... (Google how Public pool Policies treated black families way back then) Now adults, they have little incentive to install a pool due to negative associations, or even learn to swim at water parks because the distrust is so great. Their kids want to go swimming but the parents just mumble a negative out of discomfort and the swimming tradition is broken and has to start from scratch for their future generations. If asked why they don't swim, they can't really say why. Just that their parents have AVOIDED opportunities to learn for some unconscious reason... |
