Bloated Corpse Floats by After Failed Sailing on a Piece of Styrofoam
What was supposed to be a fun water sport turned into a death trap for 36-year-old Ramlal Pooran, whose body was found floating out at sea on Saturday. Pooran's decomposing body was found 2 days after he went missing. Police said Pooran and a close male friend was liming at Guapo Beach, near Point Fortin, Trinidad when they decided to go sailing on a piece of Styrofoam. A giant wave threw the men into the water and Pooran never resurfaced. His friend, however, swam to safety. He changed his clothes and walked away. No report was made to police or Pooran's relatives. Pooran’s sister Vimla said that her brother could not swim and was very cautious about entering the sea. “My brother would not go into an area where he cannot stand in the water because he cannot swim. I have a lot of questions. How did my brother reach so far out in the water?” Vimla asked. She said her family was only notified on Friday that her brother had drowned. “They had a responsibility to tell us that Pooran was missing and we only found out on Friday evening when we inquired where was Pooran. So, I think something is very sketchy about the story told to police officers,” she said. Pooran, she said, was looking forward to celebrating his birthday on Friday “He had been speaking about his birthday celebrations for weeks. He was already in the planning stages of buying food and drinks and to get family members together,” the grieving sister said. Pooran was the father of a 13-year-old boy. An autopsy is expected to be done Forensic Science Centre today. |

Bit of a dodgy story from the friend there. Not surprised family is suspicious. He just swims back to shore with his friend missing and doesn't tell a soul?

Not to be racist, but when I was in Navy bootcamp, most of the black dudes couldnt swim and were forced to take remedial swimming to pass basic training... I bet this poor fucker couldnt swim either |

I'm guessing the reason that so many blacks can't swim is because they tend to grow up in land-locked inner city areas where there aren't many beaches or municipal public pools. Just a theory |

Hey lets take that little piece of styrofoam over there out for a sailing excursion... ... okay. Sounds like a real fun thing to do on such a warm, boring afternoon. I can't wait!! |
