One of the things which has saved my ass many times on my bike, is I'm ALWAYS assuming that the worst is about to happen. Cautious and constantly devising exit strategies. Am I a chicken? Maybe, but I'm also still alive 15 years later.  |

Helmet popped off, do they often do that in 150 kph wrecks? Was the head still in the helmet? Interesting how the bike kinda fragmented. The car seemed to hold up well, even the glass windows seemed intact. I would have predicted more damage to the car. |

Crossroads or not, anything can happen to anyone at any time. Maybe someone was pulling out from being parked on the road shoulder. A rock slide. A puddle of some sort. A bump in the road. A pothole... The choices are as varied as the number of motorcycle rider deaths.  |
