On a motorcycle, usually one of the following: -Gross weight distribution imbalance. -Tire wearing/or inflation issues. -Suspension adjustment and/or inadequacies -Mechanical (wheels out of alignment, bent forks, steering head bearings too tight or not lubricated) - Speed combined with any of the above. does not have to be excessive, just where the harmonics of the problem and speed intersect to start a wobble or "tank slapper" as we call 'em. |

Lost tire pressure and control of front wheel.. Front wheel started an uncontrollable wobble resulting in the veering into oncoming traffic  |
