Re: Being Shot in the Street - Syria
I have no gun, and no need for one. I live in Ontario Canada. The least violent places in the world have the toughest gun laws and lowest number of guns, and the MOST violent places in the world have the HIGHEST number of guns. Norway for example. Gun related crimes are very rare. It's funny that all the "PRO GUN" enthusiasts like to point out that there was a mass shooting in Norway in July 2011, as if that somehow changes the fact that Norway is considered one of the best countries to live in in the world, and has a very low gun violence rate. We need to start modelling our societies by taking examples from the countries that are doing a superior job. The amount of people on here that can't understand this and think that we should mimic the 3rd world, poverty and war ridden countries is astonishing. No thanks. I prefer to study the successful, healthy, peaceful and happy countries and discover what they are doing differently than me and what can I improve on. But hey, I'm Canadian. We generally aren't interested in fighting wars. We prefer to make money up here. |

Re: Being Shot in the Street - Syria
offcourse the rebels are going to burn down a Shia Mosque, Assad and his Army are Shia and standing in the way of Democracy. if you had followed the news you would have known about Assad wiping out Sunni communities using conventional weapons of war but sparing the Shia and Christian communities because they support Assad and are against free and fair elections. |
