I think the whole point is to use dull instruments....for pain and fear factors... I mean, they used one of those tiny retractable branch saws in one video for fuck sakes.....I don't think they mean to make it fast and easy. Of course, I could be wrong and they're all just a bunch of amateurs, as Walter Sobchak would pronounce.

Though I doubt it.
They enjoy making it last, remember its a game for them.
