Re: Beheading Using Hacksaw While Alive
I just don't know how they get themselves in a position to always get tied up before being dismembered. These victims must know the punishment, why would you not try to go out with a fight? It's like "oh the grim reaper is here let me just sit here and let them tie me up"

Re: Beheading Using Hacksaw While Alive
I have an opinion about that... I'm sure none of these thugs want to die a horrible death. However, when you are out manned, vulnerable, and in a dangerous environment your thought process is "altered". The human mind has a hard time accepting the fact it is about to die, so it does some mental gymnastics to try and find any solution to escape certain death. I'm sure many captives try to convince themselves that if they comply with these thugs that maybe - just maybe - they will be sparred. Of course it rarely works out that way, especially if it involves drug cartels. The brain will not accept death, because its the bodies instinct to live. That's my two cents anyway. |

Re: Beheading Using Hacksaw While Alive
I was held captive in apartment for few hours by two men who beat me up with sticks and poked me with knives. I tried to escape 2 or 3 times but they always caught me before I managed to open the door. It always resulted in a more severe beating. After a certain point I figured that I needed to get out by talking with them. I only tried to escape in a situation where I thought that I was going to die and I did manage to get a sudden burst of energy, but got caught again cause I had to turn away to open the door. So my strategy was to play safe as long as I thought I had the chance to survive and take risks when I thought I my chances were low. I believe this is pretty much the process that goes on in the heads of these people when they are captured.

That was especially slow and callous, when he laid him on his back I was just imagining how the blood must have run backwards into his throat and slowly drowning in it, that iron taste, wow.

Totally. I would like to think that he wasn't fully aware and fading out by that point. Once you cut those vital arteries, you lose major blood flow to the brain and fast. It took an eternity for this guy though. Look at how long it took for him till he could no longer scream because his vocal chords were severed. He felt every bit of that absolute hell.

Re: Beheading Using Hacksaw While Alive
Maybe the cartels should invest in cyanide capsules. Get caught? Pop it open and you’re all set. No being alive for the beheading/burning/chopping/shooting/open-heart surgery/other madness
